47 arrested in anti-drug operation in the capital

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 47 people for the crime of selling and consuming drugs in the capital city.

They were arrested from 6 am on Saturday (18 February) to 6 am on Sunday (19 February) in various police stations of the capital.

As part of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's regular anti-narcotics operation, they were arrested from 6 am on March 4 to 6 am on Sunday, March 5.
28 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the arrested in different police stations of DMP.
