10 injured in two train collision in Chilahati

The accident took place at Chilahati railway station on Wednesday (January 18) morning. A light engine of Mithali Express and a Khulna-bound Rupsa Express train collided at Chilahati in Domar, Nilphamari. At least 10 people were injured.

Leader of Chilahati Fire Service Nur Alam Siddiqui confirmed this information and said that two units of fire service are conducting rescue work at the spot.

Among them, the names of Rupsa locomaster Nazmul Haque and Mithali Express assistant locomaster Majedur Rahman have been revealed. The injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital.
