Today Nawabganj killed in road accident: 1

A motorcycle rider named Nazmul Hossain (40) was killed in a road accident in Dhaka's Nawabganj on Sunday (December 25) morning.

The accident took place in front of the Chabari restaurant adjacent to the Kashimpur graveyard of Thana on Saturday (December 24) night. The deceased Nazmul is the son of Abdul Khalek of that Thana Sadar Samsabad village.

According to SI Mritunjoy Kumar Kirtania and local sources, Nazmul was riding a motorcycle in front of the tea house restaurant adjacent to Kashimpur cemetery around 8 pm on Saturday. At that time, a red colored microbus coming from the direction of Nawabganj hit him and fled towards Majhirkanda. Local residents rescued Nazmul from the scene and took him to Nawabganj Thana Health Complex. The doctor on duty there saw the condition of the injured as critical and advised him to go to Dhaka for better treatment. Later he died at Anna Street in Dhaka around 12 o'clock in the night.
