From now on Tiktok itself will monitor the user's sleep. The Chinese company is adding a feature called 'Sleep Reminder' to this social media app. The short video streaming platform has already started working on it.
In addition to notifying the user when to sleep, this new feature will also turn off notifications during sleep. TikTok initially rolled out the feature experimentally for select users.
Once the feature is enabled, it will be available in the 'Screen Time' option in the TikTok app's settings. From there, users can set their own bedtime by going to the 'Sleep Reminder' option.
At that particular moment, TikTok will send a notification to inform the user when it's time to sleep. In addition, the platform will also turn off TikTok notifications for the next seven hours while sleeping. As the Tung Tung sound of the notification does not disturb the user's sleep.
