Threat of terrorist attack in Mumbai again, warning issued

A terrorist attack has been threatened in the Indian city of Mumbai. Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) received this threat through e-mail. NDTV reported this information about police sources.

After receiving the threat, the NIA informed the Mumbai Police about this. After that alert was issued in different cities of Maharashtra. Apart from this, the NIA and the Mumbai Police have started a joint investigation to uncover the truth of the threat.

According to Mumbai Police sources, the person who sent the mail identified himself as a Taliban. He said, there may be a terrorist attack in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police and NIA have started investigation after receiving this mail threatening terrorist attacks.

Threats from email id

• According to the country's police, the email ID from which the threatening letter was sent has 'CIA' written in place of the sender's name. The email sender claimed in the letter that the Taliban would attack the city very soon. Email sender's IP address is checked by Cyber Cell. Initially the cyber cell came to know that the mail was sent from Pakistan.

However, the police suspect that someone has deliberately sent such mails to create panic. Such threatening mails have come several times before.
Earlier last January, a terrorist attack threat came over a phone at Mumbai's Dhirubhai Ambani International School. In October last year, there were threats of attacks on various phones in Mumbai. In that phone, it is said that bombs are kept at various important places in Mumbai.

In 2008, there were terrorist attacks at Taj Hotel, CST Station, Kama Hospital, Leopold Cafe in Mumbai. 166 people were killed in that attack.
