Convicted of sedition
- As reported by AFP, a 19-year-old Sikh youth, Jaswant Singh, was found guilty in that incident. He admitted to 'trying to harm' the queen. The young man in Britain is the first person in decades to be found guilty of treason.

According to reports, Jaswant Singh has been found guilty of all three charges. Among them is the Act of 1842 – Attempts to harm the Queen. Apart from this, he was found guilty of two other charges - threat to kill and possession of offensive material.
The Queen of Britain died (of natural causes) 9 months after the incident (8 September 2022) at the age of 96.
According to BBC news, the verdict against Jaswant will be announced on March 31 in the Old Bailey court. In one such incident in 1981, British citizen Marks Sergeant was sentenced to 5 years in prison. He fired shots at the Queen as she paraded on horseback in central London.
