The Prime Minister is visiting Japan on April 25
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going on a four-day visit to Japan. The Prime Minister's visit will begin on April 25. Several MoUs may be signed between the two countries.
This information was informed by a status from the verified Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (April 11).
It is said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit the country from April 25 to 28 at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. The Emperor of Japan will welcome the Prime Minister during the visit. During her visit to the country, Sheikh Hasina will hold a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. The Prime Minister of Japan will host a working dinner in honor of Bangabandhu's daughter.
During the visit to Japan, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend an investment summit, several bilateral meetings and a reception for the Bangladeshi community. During the visit, the Prime Minister will present the 'Friends of Liberation War' award to some Japanese citizens. Apart from this, Bangladesh is expected to sign several cooperation memorandums with Japan during the visit.
As the head of government, Sheikh Hasina visited Japan for the first time in 1997. Then he visited Tokyo in 2010, 2014, 2016 and lastly in 2019. This is going to be the Prime Minister's sixth visit to the country. Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was scheduled to visit Japan in late November last year. But the tour was postponed at the last minute.
