The Prime Minister inaugurated the Amar Ekushey Book Fair

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Amar Ekushe Book Fair-2023. He officially inaugurated the book fair at Bangla Academy premises on Wednesday afternoon. Through this began the month-long event of this life throughout February.

After almost three years due to Corona, the Prime Minister came to Bangla Academy premises to inaugurate the book fair.

Metrorail station

• Changes have been made in the format and format of the book fair. Especially due to the location of the metro rail station, the main entrance of the last time has been moved a little and this time the temple gate will be used as the main entrance on the opposite side of the main entrance of Bangla Academy. The last entrance will be marked as exit. Apart from this, there will be 3 more entrances and exits in TSC, Doel Chatwar and Engineering Institution sections.

This year's book fair will be held in Bangla Academy premises and historical Suhrawardy Udyan area of about 11.5 lakh square feet. 165 units have been allocated to 112 institutions in the academy premises and 736 units to 489 institutions in the Suhrawardy Udyan section i.e. a total of 901 units to 601 institutions. The fair will have 38 pavilions.
