The High Court has given a verdict in honor of language martyrs in Bengal

At that time, Deputy Attorney General Amit Dasgupta was on behalf of the state and Advocate Md. Shariful Islam was present.
Justice Naima Haide
- Before the verdict, Justice Naima Haider said, today is the month of language. Today's first verdict is announced in Bengali in honor of Language Martyrs and International Mother Language Day. This verdict has been announced in Bengali with respect to all Bengali speakers of the world.
- Lawyer Shariful Islam said, our case is a case related to entrusted property. The court disposed of the rule and sent it to the Appellate Tribunal.
In the judgment given in Bangla, after discussion and review of counsel's arguments, we agree to settle this ruling without entering into the review of the merits of the suit with the following directions.

The instructions are:
- (1) The petitioner may file an appeal to the Appellate Tribunal against the return of vested property.
- (2) If the applicant wants to file an appeal before the Vested Property Appellate Tribunal, the appeal shall be filed within 90 days of receipt of such order.
- (3) Restitution of vested property in appeal to the Appellate Tribunal shall be exempted.
- (4) The order of restitution of under vested property shall remain in abeyance pending appeal to the Tribunal.
- (5) Status of possession will remain in place until the parties resolve the appeal. The writ case was settled.
