On Monday (January 30), Dhaka's Special Judge Court-6 Judge Al Asad Md. Asifuzzaman's court had set a date for hearing the case.

- On this day, the emperor appeared at the court. At this time, his lawyer Ehsanul Haque Samaji applied for time to frame the complaint. Besides, he requested the emperor's permission to go abroad for treatment. The court granted the complaint and fixed March 1. The court also fixed the same day for the hearing on the application to go abroad for treatment.

Meanwhile, the emperor applied for permanent bail. The court granted him bail till the appointed date. Besides, the lawyer applied to take over the Emperor's passport. The judge fixed the matter for hearing on a fixed date.
Anti-casino
- On October 6, 2019, Samrat and his aide, the then Jubo League leader Enamul Haque alias Arman, were arrested from Comilla during the nationwide anti-casino campaign. On August 22, 2022, the court granted the emperor's bail.
RAB arrested Samrat from Comilla on October 6, 2019 during the anti-casino operation. He was then expelled from the Jubo League.
The ACC filed a case against Samrat on November 12 of that year on the charge of acquiring wealth beyond known income after his arrest. It was accused of acquiring illegal wealth of 2 crore 94 lakh 80 thousand rupees. On November 26, 2020, the ACC submitted the charge sheet to the court in this case.
Samrat got bail in four cases between April 10 and May 11 last year. He was released after 31 months in prison.
