The fire started in New Market from the bulldozer breaking the bridge

As time goes by, the fire is increasing in the New Super Market in the New Market area of the capital. At last 28 units of fire service are working to control the fire.

The fire broke out on the third floor of the New Super Market at 5:40 am on Saturday (April 15). RAB, police and army, navy are working along with fire service to control the fire.

The fire service has not yet given an official statement as to the cause of the fire.

However, the president of the New Super Market Owners Association. Shahidullah said that the people of the city corporation were working to break the bridge around 3 o'clock in the night. They didn't notice that we have power lines on the bridge. The fire started when the bulldozer was operating on the line. This situation has happened today because they broke this bridge without any planning.

Shahjahan Sikdar, officer-in-charge (media) of the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said that the fire broke out at New Super Market at 5:40 am on Saturday and the fire service unit reached the spot at 5:43 am and started controlling the fire. Later the number of units was increased to 19 and finally to 28.
