Much of Ukraine is under an emergency blackout after missiles hit power plants in several cities. Earlier, the UK said it would supply the country with Challenger-2 tanks, one of the British Army's most powerful weapons, as part of aid to bolster Ukraine's defenses.

British Prime Minister Yogi Sunak said that these tanks will help to eliminate the Russian forces. However, in response, Russia said that if more weapons are given to Ukraine, it will make Russia's campaign more extensive and many more civilians will be killed.

On Saturday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia's attacks on civilian targets can only be prevented if Western countries acquire the necessary weapons. What needs to be done for this (to prevent Russian attacks)? We need the weapons that are in the warehouses of our Western friends and the weapons that our soldiers are waiting for," said Mr. Zelensky. He said that the forces of Ukraine destroyed 20 to 30 missiles in the air.

The largest number of casualties in this missile attack occurred in the city of Dnipro. When the missile hit the entrance of a nine-story building there, several floors were pulverized. Ukrainian officials said at least 73 people were injured, including 14 children. This is the worst attack in the last few months.

Mr. in the video message. Zelenskiy said that rubble removal and rescue operations continued throughout the night in the destroyed buildings in the city of Dnipro. Thirty-seven people, including six children, were rescued from the collapsed building. But despite not being close to the city's electrical infrastructure, no information was available on why the building was targeted. It is believed that the attack was aimed at Ukraine's power infrastructure, but it may have been due to a faulty targeting of the Russian missiles. Or it could be one of the Russian missiles that Ukraine shot down, although that is unlikely.

Russia's latest attack on Ukraine's power infrastructure came two weeks ago. Ukraine said, these attacks have prepared a catastrophic situation in Kharkiv and Kiev area.

Officials in Ukraine and in the West began to think that Russia's "energy war" may or may not be coming to an end because of Russia's many missile shortages. Moreover, this strategy is not able to break the morale of Ukrainians. But Saturday's attack proved that Moscow still intends to continue this strategy.
