A person named Ebadat Hossain (48) died after drowning in the capital's Hatirjheel. He was working in a private company. Merul Badda drowned after falling from a paddle boat in Hatirjheel waters around 7 pm on Friday. Later he was rescued and brought to the hospital where the doctor declared him dead around 9:30.
