On the occasion of Eid, new notes will be available from today
Eid means happiness, Eid means joy. Eid salami increases this level of happiness several times. Receiving Eid greetings from elders is a great part of Eid joy. And if the salami money is brand new, then there is no question. Besides, many distribute new money in Bakshish, Don-Khairat or Fitra.
Considering the customers around Eid, Bangladesh Bank releases new notes in the market every year. On the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, new money will be available in various scheduled banks in Dhaka region from Sunday (April 9).
On March 29, the Department of Communication and Publications of Bangladesh Bank informed that new notes of 5, 10, 20 and 50 taka will be exchanged in a special system through 40 branches of different scheduled banks and various offices of Bangladesh Bank in Dhaka region except on weekends and public holidays. The same person cannot accept new notes more than once. However, while withdrawing notes, one can take any amount of metal coins (coins) from the counter regardless of value.
