Inauguration of Vitamin A Plus Campaign in Mymensingh City

Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation. Ikramul Haque Titu inaugurated the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign. Children aged 6 months to 5 years will be given vitamin A capsules at Nagar Bhavan premises on Monday (February 20) at 10 am.

Mymensingh City Corporation aims to feed one blue capsule to 9,341 children aged 6 to 11 months and one red capsule to 57,121 children aged 1 to 5 years at 5 permanent and 301 temporary centers of the city corporation from 8 am to 4 pm. .

While inaugurating the campaign, the mayor said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants every person to be safe. This campaign is done every year keeping that goal in mind. About 66 children of City Corporation will be fed vitamin A this time. In the meantime, the city corporation has achieved 100% of the target in all the campaigns. This achievement will continue this year as well.
