The victim filed a case in court seeking justice in this incident. 4 persons including Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) Mojibur Rahman Tapadar were accused in this.
The victim filed the case in the Senior Judicial Magistrate Amli Region (Ramgatti) court on Sunday (April 16) afternoon.
Plaintiff's lawyer Abdul Ahad Shakeel Patwari confirmed the case. He said, the judge of the court. Belayet Hossain has taken cognizance of the case. The CID Lakshmipur branch has been directed to investigate this and submit the report to the court on June 6.
He also said that her husband Hossain has served 27 months in jail for killing his wife Parul Begum. After coming out of jail, he came to know that his wife had committed suicide in a house in Dhaka. Hossain's wife committed suicide 5 days after his arrest. The body of the wife was buried in the Azimpur graveyard. CID's investigation under the direction of the court revealed the truth of the incident. Based on the investigation report of the CID, the judge of the same court on April 4. Belayet Hossain freed the victim from the murder case.
Accused police officer Mojibur Rahman Tapadar is currently working at Daserhat police outpost under Laxmipur Chandraganj police station. The other accused are Hosan's father-in-law. Bahar Mistry, his wife Hajera Begum and son Md. Babul. Parul's father was a resident of Barakheri village in Barakheri union of Bahar upazila. At present, he lives with his family in Didar Bazar area of Chargazi Boyarchar of the upazila. He is the plaintiff in this case.
Md. Hussain said in a tearful voice, "My mother died, I could not give land." I had to stay in jail on false charges. SI Mujibur forced my daughters to give a statement under section 164 against me by giving them electric shocks. I filed a case in court for this.
When the accused called Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police Mojibur Rahman Tapadar on his mobile, he said, "I have investigated the case for a while." At that time I did not know the fact that Hussain's wife was alive. The case was later investigated by the CID. They got the facts. And the matter of giving electric shocks to Hossain's girls is not true.
Sources and lawyers in the case said that on October 14, 2019, a half-melted body of a woman was found in the abandoned toilet of Banglalink Tower in Sujan village near the house. Her mother Hajera identified it as Parul's body after seeing the three amulets on her hand. Later, Parul's father. Bahar filed a case against son-in-law Hossain as plaintiff. Police arrested Hossain and sent him to Lakshmipur court.
About 27 months later, after getting out on bail, Hossain came to know about the suicide of his wife Parul. Later, he collected the death case and hospital autopsy report in the Lalbagh police station of Dhaka in the case of wife's suicide. Then it was informed from the police station that Parul's body was buried in Azimpur cemetery. His brother md. The body was handed over to Babul. On March 10, 2022, Hossain appeared in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Amli Ramgati with all the evidence. Court Judge Nusrat Zaman reviewed the documents and directed Hossain's two daughters, Jhumur Akhtar and Nupur Akhtar, who gave their statement in the murder case on March 13, to be present. According to the order of the court, Jhumur, who gave a statement under section 164, was produced.
Then Jhumur said in the statement given to the court that he gave answer against his father only as taught by SI Mojibur Rahman Tafadar, the investigating officer of the case. The court directed CID Laxmipur District Sub-Inspector (SI) Ashraf Uddin Sardar to investigate the case after reviewing the documents.
It has been found that the investigation officer Ashraf submitted the report to the court on August 16, 2022. It is mentioned that the victim Parul committed suicide in another incident on October 19, 2019 in a house in Lalbagh area of Dhaka. But Ramgati police arrested Hossain on October 14 on the charge of killing his wife. Then the plaintiff identified the dead body of an unidentified woman as her daughter and filed a false case against Hussain. During the investigation the incident was proved. In this, legal action can be taken against the plaintiff Bahar for harassing Hossain in a false case by keeping the fact that the girl is alive hidden. Besides, if the mystery of the death of the unidentified woman is revealed in the future, the case will be revived.
Hossain said, he is a fisherman by profession. He is a resident of Sujan village in Alexander Union of Ramgatti. He has to stay in the river most of the time during the season. In mid-September 2019, he had an argument with his mother Syeda Khatun and wife Parul. Angry about this, Parul went to his father's house. After four days, he came home and searched for his in-laws without finding his wife. He made a GDO at the police station in search of his wife.
Parul's father. Bahar Mistry said Parul's body was identified by seeing three amulets on his hand. We didn't know Parul was in Dhaka. His death in Dhaka was also unknown. My son told Babul that body was handed over but it is not true. This is what Babul told me about this. If we had known the truth, we would never have filed a case against Hussain.
In this regard, Md. Bahar refused to give the mobile number to talk to Babul.
Incidentally, Hossain and Parul had a second family. Parul's first husband's name was Abul Kalam. Accordingly, the first husband's name has been written in the death certificate and autopsy certificate at Lalbagh police station in Dhaka.
