Humayun Faridi, the name of a lost star. It has been 11 years since he left. Today is his 11th death anniversary. On February 13, 2012, he passed away quietly and suddenly to the country of no return. Humayun Faridi was a powerful actor. He would portray his character so wonderfully that the audience would get lost in the illusion of acting. He was popular in film, stage and television. He is remembered for his extraordinary and undisputed role in the theater and cinema world of Bangladesh.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Faridi was one of the few actors who made stage and TV plays incredibly popular. While acting, he created his own style of acting, which has made him unique in the lap of time. Therefore, countless people of the country and abroad still remember him with respect.

Humayun Faridi had a vision of death. 'There is nothing so sweet, so deeply beautiful as death. Because death is inevitable. When you are born, you must die. No one commits sin if death is in mind. What is inevitable, it is better to love him.

He also said, 'Fear of death is foolishness. The wise do not fear death. Embrace, accept, accept death. Then you will see how beautiful life is.

He was one of the organizers of the drama festival held at Jahangirnagar University. Mainly through this festival, he became a known face in Natyangan. He got the membership of Dhaka Theater while still a student of the university. Humayun Faridi entered the film world in the nineties.

After that, he joined the theatrical practice of Dhaka theater. Acted on stage for Dhaka theater in dramas like Kittankhola, Muntasir Fantasy, Keramat Mangal, Dhurta Wee etc.

Humayun Faridi won the National Film Award in 2004. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to nature, the Jahangirnagar University authorities awarded him on the occasion of the institution's 40th anniversary. However, although demands were raised from the youth community for Faridi's twenty-one medal, in the end he was not given this honorary medal. Over the last few days, there has been criticism on social media.
