Hero freedom fighter and music director Anwar Jahan Nantu passed away

Heroic freedom fighter and music director Anwar Jahan Nantu passed away. The famous music director was suffering from several aging diseases including liver cirrhosis for a long time. He died at the age of 78 in a private hospital in the capital yesterday at around 2.30 am. This information is known from family sources of the deceased.

Son of Anwar Jahan Nantu

• He breathed his last at BRB Hospital in the capital on Sunday (February 5) at 3 pm. The news of his death was confirmed by director Sagar Jahan, son of Anwar Jahan Nantu.

  The news of the death was confirmed by his son theater director Sagar Jahan. He said, "My father Anwar Jahan Nantu died of old age at 3 o'clock on Sunday night." Father's funeral will be held at Bad Johar Moghbazar Big Mosque.

Anwar Jahan Nantu is the music director of numerous popular songs including 'Tumi Amar Moner Majhi Amar Paran Pakhi', Prem Samadhi Broke, 'Chokher Jale Am Vese Chalchi'.
