  The plot of the movie is 28 years ago. On August 24, 1995, a teenager, Yasmin, was raped and killed in Dinajpur. Some policemen were involved in this incident. Angry people of Dinajpur protested against them. The police fired indiscriminately on them, killing seven people. Since then, 'Yasmin Killing Day' has been celebrated in Dinajpur. August 24 is celebrated as 'Women's Violence Prevention Day' across the country.
  It is known that the movie may start next April. Half of the shooting will be done in Dinajpur due to the need of the story. The other half is in Dhaka.

Director Suman said it took two years to get permission from Yasmin's family. People will remember Yasmin when they see her in the movie. After discussing these issues, Yasmin's mother gave permission. Later the screenplay work started.

Dhallywood's popular actress Vidya Sinha Mim was at the top of the discussion with the movies 'Paran' and 'Damaal' last year. Since then he has been selectively taking up work. Mim is currently busy with the movie 'Manush' in Kolkata. Tollywood superstar Jeet is acting opposite him. The heroine has to lose weight to play the role of Yasmin.
