The popular children's series Sisimpur will be aired on Durant TV, the only children's channel in the state for the next four years.
The popular children's series Sisimpur will be aired on Durant TV, the only children's channel in the state for the next four years. Sisimpur, built with the financial support of USAID-Bangladesh, has been airing on Daily Durant Television since 2019.
A bilateral agreement was signed between Sisemi Workshop Bangladesh and Durant Television in Sisimpur office today, Monday (January 16). Sesame Workshop Bangladesh Managing Director Mohammad Shah Alam and Durant Television Director Abhijit Chowdhury signed the agreement.

At this time, Sesame Workshop CEO Steve Youngwood, Senior Vice President Shari Rosenfeld, Chief Research Officer Alison Bryant and USAID-Bangladesh Education Advisor Sudev Kumar Astha were present. As a result of this agreement, children's supreme entertainment and educational program Sisimpur will be aired daily on Durant TV for the next four years.

For the last 18 years, the Sisimpur program has been produced with the financial support of USAID-Bangladesh. Which is the most popular name among children and parents of Bangladesh these days. The episodes of Sisimpur's new season have been produced under the ongoing 'Promoting Education for Early Learners' project with the financial support of USAID.
Along with television activities, Sisimpur's digital and school-based activities are also continuing. Nowadays, Sisimpur is working for the development of education in 250 primary schools of the country. It is to be noted that in 2022, Sisimpur won the globally acclaimed Kidscreen Award for its children's programs. Since 15 April 2005, this serial has been continuously broadcasted on BTV, which is very popular among children.
