Modern, powerful, advanced technology ships are being added to the force to further strengthen the Coast Guard.
The Prime Minister made this comment at the 28th anniversary celebration of Bangladesh Coast Guard at the headquarters of Agargaon in the capital on Monday. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal MP was present as a special guest on the occasion.
The Prime Minister said that motivated by the spirit of patriotism and liberation war, the Coast Guard is playing an effective role in the security of the sea border and preventing drug trafficking. He also commented that he has gained the trust of the people by playing a role in coastal areas in natural disasters.

Highlighting the current world situation, the head of government said, 'When the epidemic of corona created an unstable situation all over the world, we still tried to hold the economy.
