39 arrested in DMP's anti-narcotics campaign

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 39 people with drugs in the anti-drug operation in the capital. At that time, 426 pieces of yaba, 13.5 grams of 100 pure heroin, 80 kg of 770 grams of ganja and 10 liters of foreign liquor were recovered from the arrested persons.

They were arrested from 6:00 AM on Friday (10 February) to 6:00 AM on Saturday (11 February) in different police station areas of the capital.

According to a report by DMP News, as part of the regular anti-narcotics operation of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, 39 people were arrested and narcotics recovered from various police stations in the capital from 6 am on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday.

The report also mentions that 27 cases have been filed under the Narcotics Control Act in the respective police stations.
