The matter was also discussed in the meeting of the party's policy-making committee standing committee. The BNP has started preparing for the final movement from such apprehensions.
Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Acting Secretary of the office, told our time, "I am hearing about various plots of the ruling Awami League government. I also hear that the government can organize the 12th National Assembly election any time this year. Keeping this issue in mind, our movement is also being speeded up. Rushing towards the final movement. If there is an election in the country without a non-partisan government, it will be a death trap for the government.
Prime Minister
The leaders of the party said that the common people are getting angry with the ongoing 'political and economic' situation of the country. In such a situation, people's direct and indirect support for the ongoing movement of BNP to establish democracy and voting rights is also increasing. At the same time, there is pressure from the democratic world to make the upcoming elections free, fair and participatory. In this situation, BNP considers the announcement of the national elections in January 2024 by the Prime Minister and the Election Commission as a strategy of the government.
The leaders of the party say that, naturally, the opposition parties started an all-out movement at the end of the government. They also have such preparations. However, BNP has received information from various sources - the government may organize elections three months before January, i.e. next October. BNP will be unprepared for this. Movement plans will also collapse.
BNP
- BNP leaders also expressed fear of such a plan of the government in the meeting of the party's standing committee. The Acting Chairman of the party also indicated this in a recent meeting. Party policymakers say there may be specific motives for scheduling elections a year in advance. They said, the government will never want BNP to prepare for the movement. So the government will want to hold elections at a time when BNP's plan has to change suddenly.

Gayeshwarchandra Roy
- Gayeshwarchandra Roy, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, said, "BNP will not participate in the election whether it is earlier or later under the Awami League government. I will not go to the polls without a non-partisan caretaker government. We have a specific plan, we are proceeding in that way.
- According to the party sources, many leaders have participated in the by-elections of the National Assembly and local government elections at various times, going beyond the party's decision. Again, many have been expelled due to the misunderstanding of Abdar and the Center by the influential leaders. In all, more than two hundred leaders are under expulsion on various charges. BNP is thinking of setting up a commission to decide on the withdrawal of their expulsion order. This commission will recommend withdrawal of expulsion order considering the nature of the offence. Based on this, the expulsion order will be withdrawn with the permission of the party's top leader. The top leadership of BNP is going to take this decision to strengthen the anti-government movement.
