Three workers died due to electrocution in Gazipur
Three workers were electrocuted while working on a multi-storied building in Sreepur, Gazipur. The accident took place at Armada Spinning Mills Limited in Kewa East of Sreepur Municipality around 8:30 am on Thursday (March 30).
The incident took place at a factory called Skynis Power Company in Kewa village of Pur city on Thursday (March 30). Three workers died due to electrocution while working on a multi-storied building in Sreepur, Gazipur. Several people were injured in this incident.
Locals said that on Thursday morning, the workers were working in a multi-storied building named Skynies Power Company in Kewa East area of Sreepur Municipality. Meanwhile, the workers were injured when they accidentally came into contact with the electric wire of the building under construction. Three people died and several were injured.
Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service. Abdullah Al Arefin confirmed this.
He said that two units of Sreepur Fire Service went to the spot immediately after receiving the news and are carrying out rescue work. So far three bodies have been found. I can give details about this later.
