BNP has formed an alliance with Tokais: Information Minister

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the peace rally organized by the Metropolitan Awami League at the central bus terminal square of Rangpur city on Saturday.

Hasan Mahmud said, 'In the 2018 election, BNP got only 6 seats by combining right-left, far-right-far-left and Taliban. This time they broke the 22-party alliance and made a 12-party alliance. Then, 34 party alliances were made with the "Tokais" of all political parties. 24 people from 34 party alliances in front, 16 leaders on stage and 100 journalists - this is their meeting. It does not take an expert to understand that they have no chance in the elections.

Bringing up the issue of lawyer Abdus Sattar becoming an MP after coming out of BNP, the information minister said to BNP, "If you do not participate in the next election, hundreds of lawyers Abdus Sattar are ready to participate in the election."

Hasan Mahmud said, 'BNP has once again fielded fire-terrorists across the country. BNP is poisonous snake. They are now taking their breath in the name of the march, and will give it a shot if they get a chance. Our peace rally is because they try to create unrest.

Rangpur Metropolitan Awami League convener Dr. Md. Awami League organizing secretary Sujit Roy Nandi was the main speaker in the rally presided over by Delwar Hossain.
