The record price of gold in the history of the country, touching lakhs of taka
The price of gold has increased again in the country's market in a gap of nine days. This price has been increased due to the increase in the price of acid gold (ripe gold) in the local market.
On Saturday (April 01), the Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) held a meeting regarding price determination and price monitoring and decided to increase the price. Later, the decision to increase the price was announced in a circular signed by Enamul Haque Bhuiyan Liton, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee on Price Determination and Price Monitoring.
The new price of good quality gold has been increased by Tk 1,516. In this, the price of good quality gold has increased to Tk 99 thousand 144, which is a record price of gold in Bangladesh.
Before this, the price of the best quality gold was increased by 7 thousand 698 rupees in one jump with the announcement on March 18. In this, the price of good quality gold is 98 thousand 794 taka. The price of gold has never been so high in the country's market. This price of gold is effective from March 19. Within 25 days of setting the record, the price of gold has set a new record.
According to the notification, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. Therefore, considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelery Association has decided the new price of gold, which will be effective from April 2.
According to the new prices, the price of best quality gold or 22 carats per bar (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 1,516 to Tk 99,144. The price of gold per 21 carat has been increased by Tk 1,458 to Tk 94,653. The price of 18 carat gold has been increased by Tk 1,225 to Tk 81,123. And the traditional gold price has been increased by 1 thousand 50 taka to 67 thousand 593 taka.
The price of silver remains unchanged even though the price of gold has decreased. 22 carat silver is selling at 1 thousand 715 taka, 21 carat silver at 1 thousand 633 taka, 18 carat silver at 1 thousand 400 taka and traditional style silver at 1 thousand 50 taka.
Before this, on March 24, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) was increased by Tk 1,167 to Tk 97,628. The price of 21 carat gold has been increased by Tk 1088 to Tk 93 thousand 195, the price of 18 carat gold has been increased by Tk 991 to Tk 79 thousand 898 and the price of conventional gold has been increased by Tk 758 to Tk 66 thousand 543.
Before this, on March 23, the price of good quality or 22 carats (11.664 grams) of gold was reduced by Tk 1,167 to Tk 96,461. The price of 21 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 1088 to Tk 92 thousand 87, the price of 18 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 991 to Tk 78 thousand 907 and the price of traditional gold has been reduced by Tk 758 to Tk 65 thousand 785.
A day before that, on March 22, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) was reduced by Tk 1,166 to Tk 97,628. The price of 21 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 1088 to Tk 93 thousand 195, the price of 18 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 934 to Tk 79 thousand 898 and the price of conventional gold has been reduced by Tk 758 to Tk 66 thousand 543.
Last March 18, the price of the best quality gold was increased by 7 thousand 698 taka to 98 thousand 794 taka. The price of 21 carat gold has been increased by Tk 7290 to Tk 94 thousand 303, the price of 18 carat gold has been increased by Tk 6241 to Tk 80 thousand 832 and the traditional gold price has been increased by Tk 5 thousand 132 to Tk 67 thousand 301.
