Shakib scored a fifty in aggressive batting
Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan came in to bat after Muminul Haque's dismissal at the start of the second day of the Dhaka Test. Shakib started with a four on the first ball when he came to the crease. After that, he maintained an aggressive attitude towards the Irish bowlers. As a result, the world's best all-rounder picked up a fifty in just 45 balls.
