Comilla became the first team to reach the final on the same day. The team is fighting for the title for the fourth time. On the other hand, Sylhet has a chance to win the BPL title for the first time. Rangpur has a chance to reach the final for the second time.

After eight seasons of BPL, Rangpur is ahead of Sylhet in terms of success. The team won the first title in 2017 by defeating Dhaka Dynamites. Of course, the current captain of Sylhet, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, was the captain of Rangpur in that event.

On the other hand, Sylhet has always been one of the weakest teams in the BPL. Sylhet franchise has changed its image under the leadership of Mashrafe in this season. For the first time, the team managed to retain the top position in the group stage of BPL. This time, Mashrafe is in front of the unwritten semi-final.
