Instructions for officials to use official e-mail for official work
Directorate of Disaster Management has instructed most of the officers and employees working at the field level including the head office of various offices of the Directorate of Disaster Management to use the official e-mail for official work.
Recently, a letter has been sent to all district relief and rehabilitation officers and upazila project implementation officers from the Directorate of Disaster Management with this instruction.
It is said in the letter that lately it is being observed that most of the officers and employees working at the field level including the head office are using personal e-mail for official work. Which is not acceptable at all. Use of government e-mail for official work is mandatory.
The letter also said that the official e-mail address has been given on the website of the Directorate of Disaster Management. The e-mail password is asked to be collected from Praveer Kumar Das, Programmer of the Directorate.
In this situation, instructions are requested to ensure the use of government email for official work. At the same time, the letter also mentioned that the matter is very urgent.
