Fire broke out in some places but the situation is under control: Fire Service
Director (Operation and Maintenance) of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate Lt. Col. Mohammad Tajul Islam Chowdhury said that fires are still seen occasionally, but they are under control.
He gave this information to reporters in Bangabazar on Wednesday (April 5). Tajul Islam said, we worked all day and night on Tuesday.
Our firefighters are still working at each point. The fire is still under our control, to a certain extent.
He said, so many goods are piled up that it is difficult to get them out. Many workers are getting tired. As a result, it takes time to complete the work.
Mohammad Tajul said that the goods of Enexco Tower are being removed. Fires are still occasionally seen here and there. There is no storage facility. As a result, some speed has to be gained. The fire can be completely extinguished only if the goods can be completely removed.
It should be noted that more than 29 hours have passed since the fire broke out in the capital's Bangabazar market, but the fire is still burning and smoke is rising.
