Case against 800 activists of BNP in Khulna
A case has been filed against 800 BNP leaders and activists in Khulna on charges of attacking the police and obstructing government work.
BNP's Central Information Secretary Azizul Bari Helal, Khulna District Convenor Amir Ejaz Khan, Metropolitan Member Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, District Member Secretary Monirul Hasan Bappi, Central Jubo Dal leader Nazmul Huda Chowdhury Sagar and 59 others have been registered by the police against 800 activists and activists.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Khulna Sadar Police Station Ajit Kumar Das filed the case on Saturday (April 1) night as the plaintiff.
On Sunday (April 2) morning, SI Ajit confirmed this information and said that so far 8 people have been arrested in this case.
It is to be noted that on Saturday (April 1) in the afternoon in front of the BNP office on Kdighosh Road in the city, BNP leaders and activists chased each other and threw bricks, tearshells and rubber bullets during the sit-in program announced by the BNP center to protest against the increase in the prices of electricity, gas and other commodities and to demand the implementation of 10 points. .
Mohammad Kabir Sheikh, Member Secretary of Rupsa Upazila Jubo Dal, Member Secretary of Batiaghata Upazila Jubo Dal, Bahadur Munshi, Joint Convenor of Dumuria Upazila Jubo Dal, Shahin Mollah, Joint Convener of Dumuria Upazila Jubo Dal, BNP leaders claimed that 15/20 activists including Saju Howlader of Khulna District Youth Dal, Moniruzzaman Nayan Howlader of Khulna District Chhatra Dal, Yasin, Feroz Mahmud, Ismail Hossain, Ibadul Haque Rubayet, Istiaq Ahmed Isti were injured.
On the other hand, the police say that gas guns and shotguns were fired to normalize the situation in cases of attempts to disrupt law and order and attacks on the police. A few policemen were injured in the brick pelting of BNP.
