Bangladesh batting to whitewash the Irish
The Tigers won the series by winning the first two T20 matches in the rain-affected by the Dark Lewis method. Therefore, Shakib Bahini is standing in front of the whitewash of the Irish after 2012 after winning the last match.
Today (March 31) at 2:00 PM, Bangladesh will enter the field in the third and final T20 match of the series against the Irish at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. At the start of the match, Tiger captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss. He decided to bat first.
Bangladesh is entering the field with two changes in the XI of the last Twenty20 match against the Irish. Leg spinner Rishad Hossain is debuting in the red green jersey. Offspinner Mehdi Hasan Miraj has been dropped from the XI to make room for him. This young leg spinner has been taken into the team mainly because of the coach's request.
Apart from this, left-handed pacer Shariful Islam, who returned to the national team after recovering from an injury, has returned to the playing eleven. Although he was in the T20 series team against the Irish, he did not get a chance to play the match. The management wants to give him a chance to return to form after injury. So the hosts rested Mustafizur Rahman and played Shariful.
On the other hand, the Ireland team, which did not see a win after visiting Bangladesh, is entering the field with a change in the XI to avoid a whitewash. Matthew Humphries makes his debut in place of pace all-rounder Graham Hume. Irish captain Paul Stirling is optimistic about winning this match.
Bangladesh XI: Liton Das (wicketkeeper), Rony Talukder, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Tawhid Hriday, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Rishad Hossain, Shariful Islam and Hasan Mahmud.
Ireland XI: Paul Stirling (captain), Ross Adair, Lorcan Tucker (wicketkeeper), Harry Tector, Curtis Camper, George Dockrell, Gareth Delaney, Mark Adair, Fionn Hand, Matthew Humphries and Ben White.
