16 years after the death of the pilot husband, Anjur also met the same fate

The plane crashed in a forest between the old Pokhara airport and Pokhara International Airport on Sunday. The pilot of the plane that crashed in Pokhara was Senior Captain Kamal KC. And Anju was in the co-pilot seat. So far 68 bodies have been recovered. It is feared that all those on the plane have died.

Anju Khatiwada wanted to be a captain. There were only a few seconds left for the dream to come true, the plane would have landed at the port. In the end, that dream remained elusive. A plane crash took her husband 16 years ago. He was also a co-pilot, and worked for Yeti Airlines.

Anju could have been promoted to the rank of captain only if the Yeti Airlines plane had landed successfully. For that purpose, he boarded the flight with senior pilot and his trainer Kamal KC on Sunday morning.

Note that a pilot needs at least 100 hours of flying experience to qualify for the rank of captain. According to sources, Anjur had the experience of landing successfully at almost all airports in Nepal as a co-pilot. All that was left was this new airport. That goal remained elusive. Just 10 seconds away from getting his chief pilot's license, his dream was shattered. Whereas, Captain Kamal KC had 35 years of experience. Many pilots were trained by him in the past. All of them are successful pilots today.

Anju lost her husband in a plane crash on June 21, 2006. He was also a co-pilot. Coincidentally he was also with Yeti Airlines. A 9L AQ aircraft crashed on its way from Surkhet to Jumla from Nepalganj. Six passengers and four cabin crew died. One of the victims was Anju's husband. He died after 16 years of that Yeti Airlines.
