When is Shabbat, will be known on Tuesday

The night preceding the 14th day of the holy month of Sha'ban is called 'Shabbarat'. 1444 Hijri will be known on Tuesday (February 21) evening.

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held at Baitul Mukarram Hall of Islamic Foundation at 6:20 PM (after Maghrib) to determine the date of Shaba Barat. It will be presided over by the State Minister of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Faridul Haque Khan.

The holy month of Shaban

• The National Moon Sighting Committee will hold a meeting to determine the date of the Holy Shaba Barat of 1444 Hijri and moon sighting of the holy month of Shaban.
  Shaba Barat is celebrated on the 15th night of the month of Shaban (the night before the 14th day of Shaban). At the end of the month of Shaban, the fasting month of Ramadan begins with the joyous message of Eid.
  If the moon of the month of Shaban is sighted on Tuesday, the counting of the month of Shaban will start from Wednesday (February 22), Shaba Barat will be celebrated on the night of March 7. If the moon is not sighted, Rajab will complete 30 days on Monday, and Shaban will begin on Thursday (March 23). In this case, Shabbat will be celebrated on the night of March 8.
