Russia has welcomed China's 12-point peace proposal to end the Russia-Ukraine war. In a statement, Zakharova said, "We welcome the proposal made by our Chinese allies to end the conflict in Ukraine and eliminate all differences between Russia and Ukraine through political-diplomatic means... We support this proposal by Beijing."

NATO membership
