According to the report, since November last year, hundreds of reports of poisoning among school children began to emerge in the city of Qom. Many of them have to be treated in hospital. Deputy Health Minister Younes Panahi said on Sunday that this was done deliberately.

Earlier, on February 14, the parents of the sick students demanded an explanation from the authorities. They gathered outside the city of Qom. The next day, government spokesman Ali Bahadori said that the Ministry of Education and detectives are trying to find out the cause of the poisoning.
