Messi-Neymar couldn't prevent PSG's departure

Even Messi-Neymar couldn't prevent PSG's departure. The club lost 2-1 to Marseille in the last 16 of the French Cup on Thursday (February 9).

PSG was deprived of the French Cup title through this loss. Kylian Mbappe was not seen on the field due to injury. Coach Christophe Gaultier has to plan the match without him.

PSG started the match with Messi-Neymar even though Kylian Mbappe was not in the opponent's field. In the fight between the two teams fighting for the title in League A, however, PSG did not care about the host Marseille in the first half. From the first minute of the match, Marshey put pressure on PSG with an eye on the attack.

Despite being ignored by Marseille in the first half, PSG came back to fight in the second half. PSG players continue to attack equally like Marseille. But they could not see the goal.

On the other hand, the French champions went behind in the 57th minute of the match. PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma could not stop Roslan Milanovski's shot from outside the D-box. After falling behind, PSG had to climb back into the match. But in the end, they did not see any more goals. As a result, PSG had to depart from the last 16 of this year's Coupe de France.
