February 4 rally to achieve 10 points: BNP

BNP Secretary General said that Awami League killed democracy by doing bakshal today, "If you ask the leaders of Awami League why bakshal was done, they cannot give any answer.

They shut down all political parties, newspapers. People were deprived of their right to speak. They killed democracy in a process of only 11 minutes in Parliament.

Regarding the presidential election, Mirza Fakhrul said, 'The presidential election will be held on February 19. Which president? The president who has no power is the president? Can he do any work beyond the advice of the illegal unelected prime minister? Can he change any laws? There should be a balance between the powers of the Prime Minister and the President. We have made this promise in our 27 points.

No one can stop our movement until the fall of Sheikh Hasina. Selima Rahman, a member of the National Standing Committee, said, "Awami League has still established an unwritten rule in the country. This is the character of Awami League. By tyranny, torture, disappearance and murder, these dishonest people want to be in power again by force. Today, the responsibility of liberating Bangladesh is once again on the BNP.

Fakhrul said, our ongoing movement will continue. As long as our national leader Begum Khaleda Zia is freed, Tarek Rahman will return to the country, until our imprisoned leaders are not freed, the movement will continue.

He further said that today this government has consciously taken away our rights in a very planned way. Made an election joke. To be clear, the government of Tamasha will not be able to hold elections again. So this government should be removed.

He said, it is time for Awami League to give up power. They can no longer stay in power. Now the people of the country are not able to live even by eating eggs. Gas prices have increased. Electricity prices have increased. Prices of daily commodities have increased. People can no longer take advantage of this government.
