Two more US officials are coming to visit Dhaka
Rear Admiral Eileen Lubacher, Senior Director for South Asia Affairs of the US National Security Council and Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary for South Asia Affairs of the US Department of State, visited Dhaka.
US Secretary of State's Special Adviser Derek Scholey and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Kara McDonald will come to Dhaka this month.
Earlier, US National Security Council Senior Director for South Asia Affairs Rear Admiral Eileen Lubacher and US State Department Assistant Secretary for South Asia Affairs Donald Lu visited Dhaka.
In addition, Foreign Minister Dr. Anthony Blinken may go to Washington in April at the invitation of the US Minister of Foreign Affairs. AK Abdul Momen.
In this regard, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, 'There was some delay in communication due to Corona. But after the US ban on RAB, communication has increased a lot.'
When asked about what could be discussed with the two officials, he told the media, "Derek Shole is mainly coming to discuss the Rohingya issue." Besides, there will be a discussion on related matters.'
He said that issues related to democracy, human rights and labor will be discussed with Kara Macdonald, "those issues are very important for both parties."
