Three passengers of an autorickshaw were killed in a bus collision in Chandpur
Three passengers of a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw were killed after being hit by a Bogdad Paribahan bus in Ashikati Union of Chandpur Sadar Upazila. Another passenger was injured in the incident.

The accident took place on Wednesday (February 22) around 7:30 am in Ghosherhat area of Chandpur-Comilla regional road.
Locals said that the Bogdad bus was going from Chandpur to Comilla early in the morning. When the CNG-powered autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction reached the place adjacent to the Ghosherhat Miyabazar Mosque, it collided head-on with the bus. Three of the four passengers of the autorickshaw died on the spot. Locals rescued the injured and took them to Chandpur Sadar Hospital.
The deceased are Md. Habib Bepari (26), Nesar Howladar (40) and Mahbub Pradhaniya (50). Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station OC Muhammad Abdur Rashid confirmed the matter.
He said that after the investigation, the body has been sent to Chandpur morgue for autopsy. Another person has been admitted to Chandpur Sadar Hospital with injuries in this incident. After the accident, the traffic was stopped for some time, but the police reached the spot and normalized the traffic. No one has been arrested so far.
