Umpires play a major role in managing the game on the cricket field. Their decisions are considered final to render necessary and perfect decisions. However, sometimes cricketers express their dissatisfaction if they do not like the decision of the umpire. They expressed their anger against the umpire in various gestures.
A local cricket match was going on at that place on Sunday (April 2). In that match, a 22-year-old youth named Lucky Raut, a resident of Mahisalanda village, was playing the role of umpire. He gave a no ball decision during the match. But the fielding team could not accept his decision.
However, this incident will surpass all past incidents. An umpire was killed by a cricketer on the field during the match, unable to accept the no ball decision. The umpire had to be killed due to an argument. Such a shocking incident took place in Mahisalanda village under Chauddar police station of Cuttack district in the Indian state of Odisha.
