Israel attack Al-Aqsa Muslims in the dark of night
Israeli forces attacked worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
They carried out this sudden attack on Wednesday (April 5) morning. According to Al Jazeera, Israeli forces also attacked worshipers. They arrested many worshipers from inside the mosque.
Apart from this, at least seven people were injured by the firing of tear shells and rubber bullets by the Israeli forces. Worshipers were forced out of the mosque during worship.
Israel claims masked men threw fireworks, sticks and stones from inside the mosque. Israeli forces forced their way into the mosque.
Meanwhile, violence has been escalating in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem since last year. It is believed that the tension may increase further this month. Because the Muslim month of Ramadan and the Jewish festival of Passover (an annual Jewish event) coincide, there are fears of violence.
