In smart politics, the interests of the country will come first
Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni MP said, technology is being used even in remote areas. Our transportation and electricity systems have improved a lot. Electricity in every house in the country, mobile in every person's hand. We have really started the journey towards Smart Bangladesh. But in the journey of smart Bangladesh, we have to be smart in terms of finance and politics. Where every political party should prioritize the interest of the country first.
People and country come first and lies, propaganda, misleading people, burning people can never be a part of smart politics in smart Bangladesh. Discrimination between people on the basis of fundamentalism, communalism, religion and no one will go hungry, others will build mountains of wealth, smart politics will not allow them to happen.
He said these things in response to questions from journalists when he arrived at Chandpur Circuit House on a two-day visit on Friday (February 3) morning.
Regarding the students Dipu Moni said, ours is not only knowledge based but skill based with knowledge based and they will learn soft skills, they will learn values and through this education they will become smart citizens.
The minister said that books should reach all educational institutions by January 25. There is no reason not to get the book. If there is a delay in arriving somewhere, I will definitely look into it. But I would like to tell everyone that every book is given on our website, if there is any error, students, especially teachers, can teach from that website with help.
About Smart Bangladesh, the minister said, Bangabandhu's daughter is just like her father. When you dream, you realize it. Digital Bangladesh, middle income country, developing country, we have become. Now he has shown us that by 2041 we will be a developed, prosperous, happy and peaceful Bangladesh and that Bangladesh will be a smart Bangladesh.
He said, what will be the smart Bangladesh i.e. everyone will only use computers but not. All our services and work, our life will go forward with all the science and technology we have. Every person will be proficient in the use of all technology and the services available with that technology will reach every person and the transparency and accountability due to that technology will be ensured and its quality will be ensured. Smart Bangladesh people means where every citizen, government, society, economy will be smart. Every sector including our agriculture, education, health will be smart. Through this they will lead a better life. This is basically Smart Bangladesh.
Local Awami League leaders including Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Hasan, Police Superintendent Milan Mahmud, Chandpur District Awami League Organizing Secretary Tafazzal Hossain Sdu Patwari, Advocate Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sanjida Shahnaz were present.
The Minister will then hold a courtyard meeting at Bachchu Sarkar's house in Sahebganj Bazar of Haimchar Upazila, Osman Pradhaniya house in Puran Banglabazar and Syed Member's house and exchange views with the public of New Sahebganj Bazar.
