34 thousand killed in Turkey-Syria

Seven days after the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, hundreds of bodies are still being recovered from the rubble. The death toll has already exceeded 34,000. More than 100,000 injured.

According to CNN, the bodies of 34 thousand 179 people have been recovered from various areas affected by the earthquake so far. Among them, 29 thousand 605 in Turkey and 4 thousand 575 in Syria. However, the United Nations says the death toll could exceed 50,000.

According to CNN, a 10-year-old girl was rescued from the rubble 147 hours after the earthquake by the Turkish rescue team. However, citing a 'security threat', the United Hatzalah rescue team from Israel announced it would leave Turkey after six days.

On the other hand, the country's security forces arrested 98 people for looting and robbing and defrauding the victims of collapsed buildings in Turkey, which was hit by a strong earthquake.

According to various reports, the earthquake has destroyed at least 6,000 houses in different parts of Syria and Turkey. Various organizations believe that many bodies may still be buried under the rubble. Rescue work is still going on.
