The seven-member Censor Appeal Committee, which convened the Cabinet Secretary as the President and the Censor Board Chairman, had parliament member and prominent performer Subarna Mustafa, former additional secretary Nurul Karim, actress Sucharita and journalist Shyamal Dutta as members and the vice chairman of the Censor Board as member secretary.
