Shahbaz invited Imran Khan to the crisis resolution meeting

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to attend the All Party Conference (APC) convened to find ways to tackle the country's dire economic and political crisis.

Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said in a statement on Thursday, "The Prime Minister wants to hold discussions with the heads of all parties to find ways to solve important national challenges." The conference will be held on February 7 in Islamabad.

In this context, he said, Union Minister Ayaz Sadiq has started communication with PTI leaders including former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and former Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, requesting them to participate in the upcoming conference.

This is an important event. Because the PDM-led government and the PTI have different positions on almost all national issues.

This step has been taken in the context of Pakistan facing dire threat of terrorism and deteriorating economic and political situation.

The statement said that representatives of police, rangers, intelligence agencies and others will also participate in the conference.
