Dense fog: 16 accidents in one kilometer, 1 killed

Due to dense fog, several road accidents occurred within one kilometer on the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway. At least 16 accidents were reported in one kilometer from Dhalla to Mirzapur Charpara on Thursday morning. One person was killed.

OC of Gogai Highway Police Station Mollah Tutul confirmed this information. He said that one person was killed when a bus hit the back of a pickup van on the Dhaka-bound lane in the Dhalya-Mansur area of the highway at 9 am. The deceased is a bus helper. The body was taken to the police station. His name was not found.

Tangail Traffic Sergeant Mostak Ahmed said that 15 to 16 accidents have occurred in different areas of Mirzapur since morning. Dhaka-bound lane is closed. But vehicles are moving through the service lane. Police are working on the highway. will be normal soon.
